Hello Comets!
This year we will be doing things a bit differently than last year. Everyone at UTD is welcome to attend our events, we do not have any special requirements and hopefully will be able to accommodate all who come! We have shooters at all levels of mastery!
We will be doing Open House for the first month of every month, and then allowing the rest of the Mondays to be practice for the club, and helping them become better archers. We will be having our first Open House College Night on September 28, 2015 at the TXAA Archery Range in Plano. Followed by another College Night on October 5, 2015. The cost for admission and equipment usage will still be only $5, but the Range has a $20 minimum for Credit Cards. We will also be selling some Comet Archery T-Shirts for $15. If you need a ride or are able to give rides to other Comets please let us know and we can organize carpooling, and meet new people!
The Archery range is only 3.6 miles away from the campus and is located at 600 Accent Dr. Plano, Texas, 75075
Another cool event that will be going on is Archery Battle/ Archery Tag on Thursday September 24th, in the Activity Center. This event is sponsored by the school and is free of charge. Bring your friends and shoot foam tipped arrows at your friends and other Comets!
We are also glad to announce that we have partnered up with the range to provide free access to Archery team members at the range on Mondays and only Mondays. Sadly it does not cover a full time membership at the range and it does not allow you to shoot on every day of the week.

Dues will be $35 per semester and will give you access to our club equipment and give you free entry on Mondays! We only have a limited number of bows and will organize scheduling if need to be, but I hope that we all will be able to shoot without problems!
Come check us out in the week of the September 21th at the Student Union! We will have a booth and give more information. Location is TBD and we will let you know accordingly.
